Eclips Watchers
Total solar eclipses are rare, and that rarity was enough to draw crowds to Tempelhofer Feld. I hadn't planned for the event and arrived without eclipse glasses or any way to photograph the sky directly, so I turned my lens toward the crowd instead. Amid improvised viewing rigs and makeshift glasses, I found my subject not in the eclipse itself, but in the collective wonder of people watching it unfold.
